• This has great features for everything we need. It’s a little complicated, but that’s fine since it’s providing a ton of functionality.

I work with a nonprofit organization, and several low budget projects. This plugin is a lifesaver! The other popular event calendars out there have absolutely insane pricing plans. Part of the attraction of WordPress in the first place is that it’s free and open source… so what’s the point of making plugins that cost an arm and a leg? Who actually USES those? (A lot of people I guess, but that’s just depressing.)

Anyway, great job on an awesome plugin! I will be making a donation at some point soon ??

  • The point of paid plugins is that developers like to eat as well. A LOT of time and effort is put into development and maintaining plugins. So donations are VEY welcome.

I have been using the paid version of EM for over 5 years now. I gladly pay for it. It’s more than worth the fee.

… I’m not really sure what your point is? I left a 5 star review and said I wanted to support this plugin.

I use plenty of paid pro versions of plugins, but I see nothing wrong with including affordability as a factor in judging a plugin. I recently saw one offering subscription only pro upgrades, at about a hundred dollars a month. There’s nothing you can say to convince me that’s NOT crazy. (No, it was not “worth it”.)
