Ignore the negative reviews. Editors like Medium.com are the gold standard for writing content these days and this is a substantial step in that direction. While there will be some bumps transitioning to the new editor for some out there, the naysayers are just those who probably overreact everytime Facebook or Twitter moves a UI button.
