• The SG Optimizer is definitely a must have if you are using SiteGround a host. It does speed up your site significantly and provides you with toggles that you would otherwise have to go into cPanel to change. However, in terms of a cache and optimization plug-in it is pretty barebones, taking a WYSIWYG approach. I wish they offered an Advanced setting. Right now I am using the Swift Performance Lite plug-in along side this (yes I know using 2 cache plug-ins is setting myself up for disaster) to fill in the gaps, fixing some speed and optimization issues that i’ve found.

We’re trying to make the plugin as simple to use as possible. In the 5.1 version we’re releasing later today, we will introduce more features that will make it even better.

We currently consider adding something like basic / advanced view but we want to make it in a smarter way without overwhelming the user with endles menus, submenus and options that most people don’t understand, while providing full control over the plugins operation.

Oh, thats exciting. I would definitely take a peek at Swift Performance and their interface for an “advanced” view. In my opinion it does a great job at not giving you an overload of menus and options like some other cache plugins *cough* W3 Total Cache *cough*

Super excited to see what the future holds for the plug-in.
