Amazing Plugin that works – Instructions could be slightly improved

Migrate Guru is the must have go to plugin for migrations, with my favourite feature being that it will update all URLs to the new host name if the domain name is changing. Perfect for moving from a staging site to a main site, for example. I just did a move from a subdirectory of one domain onto a subdomain of a different domain, and it’s worked perfectly.

My only suggestion is that the help and tooltips etc could be improved a bit. Making it clearer which part of the process is done on the source site vs the destination site would be good, and better tool tips on things like site passwords – it’s not immediately clear that you often don’t need these. It’s a slightly stressful process to migrate a site as you don’t want to go the wrong way, and making it clearer what you are selecting at the start would be great. Once the process starts though, it works flawlessly.
