Amazing theme and outstanding support

  • The theme first seems to be a bit simple. You should not confuse that with a lot of “minimalistic” WordPress themes though which only give you one static design.

    The GeneratePress theme lets you tweak every little bit. Header position, sticky menu, hooks all over the place to include your content where you want – you got it. Coming in Version 2: you can even make the post content design as you would like it. So you get a page builder with WordPress and a Theme Builder with GeneratePress. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I realise that those guys have work on this thing even in their sleep.

    The theme lets you do what ever you want: background video? Sure. Want to include some Vanta.JS? That’s what elements are for. Interested in some theme templates you can actually use because they work and have style? Here you go. Want a simple mega menu or two rows of posts on the start page but three in the archive? Just add some copy and paste CSS.

    What you won’t get is some special stuff like gallery, accordion, tabs for content. But you either get an excellent recommendation for the right plugin or you find yourself some WordPress blocks that bring you that features. This seems to be, although sometimes making a bit of research and copy and paste necessary, the right philosophy. Although tabbed content would be nice. ??

    One special thanks to the support: they are incredibly fast, god-like competent and always friendly. Especially in the learning phase, when you got some stupid beginner questions, they are always happy to help. And I really think they are, that is not meant as an expression.

    One thing this theme – lets say tool – needs is one thing though: the user has to be interested in the stuff going on. If you don’t like tech and configuration and just want the design to be there NOW! then you maybe are not patient enough. Everybody else will be extremely happy with this package of excellent coding, premium support and well thought out eco system (GenerateBlocks).

Nothing unnecessary bloating your website – only the things you need to add.
