• This plugin probably just saved me 2 days worth of work porting over file archives from an ancient site. Only suggestion is to add a clearer call to action for setup – it took me about 10 minutes to find the short code hidden in the docs, and it was so deadsimple. All you (new users) really need to do is set the base (folders) up in general config, and then add [fileaway] to the page. **Mind Blown**

Hi. Thanks for the nice review. You know there’s a shortcode generator on the TinyMCE panel. Each option has an info link. The docs are extensive. How would you suggest I simplify it? The generator will do all your work for you.

    Hi Thom –
Nice! I know that now that you’ve told me, but no, I didn’t know that when I first installed so I spent 15 minutes going through each of the tutorials until I found the insert code.
Basically, I suggest you add a nice “quickstart” guide so your (non-engineering) users understand how incredibly easy File Away is to use.

For example, on the index page of the plugin, you might say:
Step 1: Add a base Directory in basic configuration
Step 2: Use the shortcode generator in your post/page or create your own using these guidelines.
Step 3: Here are some advanced options and styling configs etc…

Seriously though, top notch work here. Appreciate it!

sorry i posted in wrong post.

Thanks so much, kbagoy. I will try to incorporate your suggestions in a release soon.
