Paste in this snippet fails from Amazon.com, attempt block recovery then it goes away. Then trying to paste this snippet into same post in wordpress, works when I wrap <center><div>….I got it to render, but the image.

    snippet:
    <iframe sandbox="allow-popups allow-scripts allow-modals allow-forms allow-same-origin" style="width:120px;height:240px;" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=myamzaffili04-20&language=en_US&marketplace=amazon&region=US&placement=0060839872&asins=0060839872&linkId=9d24822f84e56999478e844cc777aef1&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true"></iframe>
tried reading 2 blog posts, one had a solution, that still fails:
    tried changing image size.

    thank you.

That is a WordPress.com site, which we generally can’t help with here.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/

WordPress.com has complete documentation and support contacts at https://wordpress.com/support/

With that said, you need to follow this guide specifically to use Amazon affiliate links on a WordPress.com site https://wordpress.com/support/adding-amazon-com-affiliate-links-to-your-wordpress-com-site/

ok, thanks, you got me farther and with a better ref link. For the sake of this post, this URL says Text+Image section applies to WordPress.com Business or eCommerce plan. Which I don’t have. But seeing Attempt Block Recovery is a misleading error when pasting in HTML, if it’s not supported, makes it sound like it’s a render error.

The Image only link works, but still says Attempt Block recovery, so the error result is the same for HTML that is supported. Another beef, is, It would be nice if a Large platform code base such as Amazon and WordPress, could handle numerous exception codes, and not mix them up into a general Block Recovery error. That’s what my eyes are seeing.

And if possible, What am I missing about www.ads-software.com? I never mentioned that in this post. But seems important.
