Amazon affiliate links not working after WP update to 5.3.2

The old way worked: Copy, paste link into Paragraph block.

Now, the only way to get the “paste” function to work is to use the shortcode block. This means I cannot style the image, especially, I cannot center it.

I’ve seen this discussed in several forums since the new update — I’m not the only one.

This is making it quite difficult to make amazon links — they’re all left-justified!

I’m using Twenty Twenty. This problem began occurring right when I updated to 5.3.2 and switched to this theme.

NOTE — On the page I linked to, only the **third-from-last** Amazon link is affected, because the rest were done prior to the update. It’s about 80% down the page, and is a “Jarrow Prebiotic” supplement. You can see it is left-justified instead of centered.

Again, this is because the paste function does not work unless you use the short code block, which then doesn’t allow for styling.
