• Hello

We have your Pro plugin installed on our site, and received the Amazon affiliate refusal stating it’s infringing on their trademark signs and names. Can you please let me know what to do.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that. By looking at your site, your site looks fine to me. You should contact Amazon Associates support regarding which output element violates their policy.

It could be the preview page with the word Amazon in the page title and its URL (Auto Amazon Links Archive – usatales.com). To disable that page, navigate to Settings -> General -> Unit Preview and uncheck the Visibility option.

But it’s unlikely that is the cause of the violation as the section of the page including the header title with the word Amazon doesn’t contain any direct links to the Amazon store site.

If you receive answers from Amazon support, I’d like to know as well what they say.

Hello good morning. The same thing happened to me, my account was suspended for violating policies. I have a question about it, Amazon says that the URLs must be the ones they (Amazon) provide, in the plugin there is a set of options for how we want our URLs to look when clicking on a product with AutoAmazonLinks. Will any of these options violate Amazon’s policy?

@larapimp Their policy seems to have been getting stricter over years.

As I saw your site, you are using the second Link Style unit option formed as https://www.amazon.{domain}/dp/ASIN/{asin}/?tag={associate tag} and it used to be fine. Is that what Amazon claims violation of their policy?

The last option for the Link Style unit option which uses in-site redirection might not be a good idea to choose unless you know what you are doing.

Thanks for your answer. I had a doubt about how strict they are with the links, in my case I had a doubt if they penalized me for not adding a button to the products, that is, not notifying the user that they are going to be redirected or because the exit links from AutoAmazonLinks they are not exactly what they provide.
