Amazon s3 storing same image in different sizes

    We are using Amazon S3 and Cloudfront plugin to upload images into Amazon S3 wenservices. Everything is working perfectly.

    When we upload the images through Media Library, it is uploading into Amazon S3 also. That is correct. But there, every single image is storing 7-8 times with different dimensions.

    For example, When I upload the image1(600X800), it is storing in Amazon S3 as
    image1-100X100.jpg
    image1-150X150.jpg
    image1-180X180.jpg
    image1-200X300.jpg
    |
    |
    |
    |
    image1-600X800.jpg – This is the correct image size which we uploaded.

    Is this the intended behaviour? Is there any specific reason behind this? Is this Ok?

    Please look into this.

  • Just follow these steps:

    1. Go to your Dashboard
    2. Go to Settings
    3. Go to Media
    4. Clear any entries under the Image Sizes menu
    5. *uncheck / clear the thumbnail fields if you wish
    6. Press Save Changes
