    Hello –

I’m trying to add Amazon search ads to my search results page after the results and/or for null results. I’ve loaded the ad, set it to display on search pages only and then tried a few different placement options – one just “after content” and the others using the genesis add on and picking the after_loop or the after post_content. None of my attempts are working. Could you please let me know the right placement type to use?

    Many thanks!

    Hi apisani,

    thanks for reaching out.

If you are using a Genesis-based theme then using a Genesis hook should be the simplest option. First, you would need to see which hooks are implemented, since child themes might not have all of them.

My personal favorite to highlight the hooks in the frontend is Simply Show Hooks.

Just install the plugin and enable the hook view in the frontend. Is there any genesis action hook in the position you would like to show ads?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Hi Thomas – Sorry for the delay.

Thank you for simply show ads – that helped a lot. It took a few tries using the hooks, but I finally got it working. The correct spot for showing after search results seems to be after_loop.

    All the best,
    Antonella
