• Have you considered adding support for Amazon SES?

My first choice is always Mandrill, followed by SendGrid… but for high volume Amazon SES is much cheaper.

It’s SES support is not a frequent need of mine, but I don’t know of a WP plugin that does a good job of supporting it, so thought I’d drop it here for you as a feature idea.

It’s on my todo list. Their API is really huge, so it will probably be released as an extension plugin.

Cool. Like I said it’s not a frequent need of mine, but I think more WordPress’ers would use SES if it was easier to implement.

I tested with Amazon SES about a week ago and it worked fine with current version 1.7.2!
At least I didn’t notice any issues and test messages reached destination correctly (headers clearly showing that the message went through SES).

Would love to see this integrated, especially now Mandrill has sent out that mass mail this morning regarding the merge with their parent company and all accounts are mandatory to be paid at Mailchimps base level.

Amazon SES seems the most cost effective solution so an API built into this plugin would be much appreciated, this postman plugin is by far the best one available in my opinion.

Keep up the good work, Please add Amazon SES ??

I’ve been unable to get SES to work, it times out, but I can connect from other services. so something is odd for me. I’d add my vote to it being a great idea to fully integrate it.

With Mandrill out of the picture now this is a big one for me too. Would really welcome this addition. I’ve switched to SendGrid in the interim but looking like SES is the place to go.

I am also very interested in an integration with Amazon SES

Why not simply using an smtp credential with SES ?

Hi @dsl225, could you share you SMTP settings for Amazon SES in Postman? It can’t find the right settings…

Sorry I don’t use SES anymore here.
I only tested last year and it worked fine but I removed since then.
But just follow Michael’s link above and you should be fine.

Hello, can you confirm that it’s fine using Amazon SES ?

Also, sorry to ask here, but I do not understand the difference between this plugin and WP SES https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-ses/

I just want that my shops emails stop going to spam. Can you tell me if I can use any of the 2 emails ?

    Thank you for your help.

Postman uses smtp while WP SES uses SES api. 2 ways to use SES.

Thank you, but at the end the result is the same ?

Latency can be different but yes the result is the same. The API might be faster.
