amex card image cut in half

The AMEX logo is not cut in half, the file is displayed correctly.
But I agree with you that it somewhat looks like it is cut compared to the other icons.
We have plans to rework some icons and also add some more for the future.

In the meantime, you are free to change it yourself as the icon is located in the plugin files:
/woocommerce-paypal-payments/modules/ppcp-wc-gateway/assets/images/amex.svg
