Amount of time a user is locked out

    lock out after how many login failures – 3
    Lock out after how many forgot password attempts – 5
    Count failures over what time period – 5 minutes
    Amount of time a user is locked out – 10 days

    I adjusted brute force attack options this way. then tried wrong usernames and get locked out. But lock out was only one day. (maybe didn’t even full one day)
    lock out was only one day not ten. Why? is there anything wrong that needs to change or add some options to make it 10 days?

    Hi @levanii

    Most people have a dynamic IP address that will change. This is most likely what happened, your IP address changed and you were therefore no longer locked out.

    Yes you are right. I realised that i was on mobile internet which has dynamic adress. I noticed in firewall after i locked out again with the same device but different ip. There was dynamic ip the thing i am struggling with.
