i finally got the ?amp=1 working
still the /amp/ is not working
i tried any combination of activating/deactivating the plugin and rebuild the permalink
i noticed that if i disable AMP plugin and use /amp/ it 404
and if i enable it, it redirect (301) to the main post url

I had this issue with our install originally due to having renamed wp-content to assets, but I reported that bug and it was fixed in current version.

It may still be an issue with category/postname as I’ve seen other posts about that couple weeks back, not sure what resolution was. You might go back in time in the threads to see other posts on that, although from the prior plugin version (one dot back).

I haven’t seen a lot of feedback from plugin author(s) here lately, so presumably they’re hard at work on next version (or enjoying spring break with their kids, which all sane humans should be doing if they have the means!)
    ??

(( I don’t work here … just WP veteran also implementing this puppy since last November, so I check in for edge issues and often toss in some of my “hey, here’s what happened on one of our sites” bits of help/opinion ))
