AMP and Mobile Search

  • Love the plugin and works fantastically for desktop.

    I’m having issues with the search finding anything when run on mobile and amp.

    Not sure if I need to configure something directly via your plugin or it needs activating on WP Touch or AMP plugin (something I can’t actually locate).

    Any advice is much appreciated.

    I haven’t used WP Touch in a long time (fortunately), but the last time I did, I think it used to turn off other plugins.

    Relevanssi should work with AMP and mobile in general, because Relevanssi simply does not know anything about the user. But WP Touch may quite well run some interference here.

    I have deactivated WP Touch and all seems to be working fine now.

    I don’t suppose you have a better recommendation to WP do you?

    Not really, I think the modern way to build themes mobile first is the way to go and solutions like WP Touch are just something you do if nothing else can be done.
