This is a very strange conflict with a default icon library, you can solve this by switching to font-awesome icons.

To fix this, Enable ‘Font Icon Library’ option in AMP from the AMP options > Design > Global > Font Icon Library and choose “Font awesome icons” and hit save.

Detailed tutorial is available here: https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/article/icons-not-loading-properly-when-going-through-google-amp-cdn/

    Hope that will help you.

Ok, thanks a lot. I’m somehow glad to know that this is a known issue…

I did it already and tried to clear cache from the AMP Cache plugin, but I can’t see any changes yet.

Does it take days to clear and get fixed?

Yes, actually it takes some time to clear cache in AMP. So after few days automatically this issue will be solved.

Well.. it has been 6 days since then, and the issue remains exactly the same.

How can I know for sure that the AMP Cache plugin actually requests to clear the cache and works?

I understand, but it is entirely upto google. We can’t control this in any manner.

I suggest you to have some patience with this

    Hi again @ahmedkaludi .

I understand that this could take a century and I’m patiently waiting.

However, I just want to make really sure that I don’t have to do anything else than this:

    https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/article/icons-not-loading-properly-when-going-through-google-amp-cdn/

The cdn.ampproject.org is still giving a font that is not readable by the browser so the user can only see squares. You can check the url I gave on the first post to see that it is still wrong.

Are you sure I don’t have to go through something like this?

    https://developers.google.com/amp/cache/update-cache

    Please.. help me with this.

    Regards

    Ricardo

You can try the ‘update-cache’ method, but we feel sorry to say that we don’t have any control on this. It’s entirely up to google
