AMP error: Custom JavaScript is not allowed. CUSTOM_JAVASCRIPT_DISALLOWED

Hi there,

Can you try using official AMP plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/amp/ instead of your current AMP plugin just to check if that makes any difference? Seems official AMP plugin takes care of many validation problems itself.
Let us know how it goes.

I started with AMPforWP and within a few days I started getting the same errors.

Per @heateor’s recommendation, I deactivated AMPforWP and installed AMP. I’m getting the same errors.
Also setting up Google Analytics is so complicated. I’m using instructions at https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/amp-analytics and getting error messages

Is there a way to install AMP and it to work without knowing all the ins and outs of web programming?

@jyotibaid I will still recommend the official AMP plugin. If you are getting AMP validation errors, let me know the url of webpage with share icons enabled. You can ask the support of AMP plugin regarding integration with Google Analytics.

i have been facing a error in google search console it showing in amp section .
“Custom JavaScript is not allowed” for many of my AMP post/pages. How do I fix this?

@bharatk121 Are you sure that error is because of this plugin? BTW, the social share icons you have enabled at the moment doesn’t belong to this plugin.
