AMP error for Google webmaster tools

  • I use official amp plugin and native mode but my website Google webmaster tools amp error issue this “The tag ‘meta charset=utf-8’ appears more than once in the document”

    @probir777 it seems you have a theme or plugin that is adding a secondary meta charset tag. Can you search among the files in your wp-content directory for PHP files containing charset to find where it is coming from?

    Aside: there is an open issue in the plugin to implement the unique constraint from the validator: https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/issues/1580

    That would fix the symptom, but it would be best to fix the underlying problem: a theme or plugin adding multiple meta charset elements.
