    I recently installed:

Accelerated Mobile Pages; AMP for WP – Version 1.0.95 | By Ahmed Kaludi.

After I did so I notice that when using:

AMP Version 2.5.3 | By AMP Project that I could not conduct a scan without the scan encountering an error.

Do these two plugins conflict with each other?

If so, which should I use if either?

    Thank you.

    Hello @devin104

Thank you for reaching out to us,

Yes, using both AMP and AMP for WP can potentially create conflicts. Here’s why:

AMP for WP builds on AMP: AMP for WP is essentially an extension of the core AMP plugin, adding customization features on top of the existing codebase.

Potential for overlap: Running both plugins could lead to redundant code and functionality, causing conflicts and unexpected behavior.

Since we don’t have all the details about your website’s construction and specific needs, it’s best to carefully compare both options. Consider factors like:

Your website’s current setup: If you already have customizations in place, AMP for WP’s features might be beneficial.

The level of customization you need: For simpler setups, the core AMP plugin might suffice.
By comparing these factors, you can choose the plugin that best suits your website’s requirements and avoids potential conflicts.

    We hope this is helps!
