AMP for WP Auto-update

  • Hi, why is the AMP for WP plugin now automatically updating to the latest version even though I didn’t activate automatic updates on the dashboard? At first there was an update notification from AMP for WP, I ignored that notification and didn’t update the plugin. But when I logged out and logged into the Dahsboard, suddenly the plugin updated itself.

    I have observed this incident many times and it has probably happened since the AMPforWP offer banner suddenly appeared on my web dashboard. How do I stop this automatic update? I don’t want to risk automatic updates for AMP.

    That’s really strange. We tried to re-create the issue at our end but we were unable to re-create it. Please let us know back if the scenario re-occurs again with the next plugin update.
