AMP GTM on non-amp pages

    Hi AMP WP team!
    We have been using AMP plugin in our site and have implemented GTM on our AMP pages, we would like to ask if we can implement it also on non-amp pages. Right now we are using GTM web container type for NON-AMP pages and would love to use only one GTM for AMP and NON-AMP pages. Please advise.

  • The setup and supported tags differ between AMP and non AMP. It’s therefore recommended to use separate containers if you’re using paired AMP (via reader or transitional mode).

    While many of the AMP tags may work in non AMP you may encounter unexpected behavior.

    You may find the Site Kit plugin useful for inserting your Tag Manager containers between your AMP and non AMP URL.
