    ?Hi There,

I am using the Bateaux theme, with the so called ‘blueprint builder’ but i’m guessing this wil also be relevant for the more common ‘fusion builder’ or ‘visual composer’

When i build my blog article with the Bateaux blueprint builder, and i try to access the AMP version of the page, the page will be empty. This is because AMP only uses content from the classic post builder. ?

I have done some tests with GTMetrix. ?I have built a rather heavy loading post with 2 large images, and also put some content in the classic builder. When i manually go to the AMP version of my site, the page loads the classic builder content really quick, and doesnt load any of the content i have built with the Blueprint builder. So i guess thats a good sign.

    Now this is my Question

Will Google see this content, Or is it hidden? Can i build my “pretty” blog post with all the trimmings, but will google still regocnise the AMP version with the hidden content, and present it in the search results? In other words, do i still get the benefits of AMP

    Thanks !

    p.s.

I’ve done a test via Linkedin. I posted the article and when i look it up via the linkedin app, it has a AMP icon and links to the amp version, and when looking it up via browser, i get the regular stylized post of the bluepriont builder. Also a great indication that all is well. But still very curious if this translates to google search

Features from page builders are striped as far as the shortcodes, style css… they use are striped in the amp version (thus you get an empty page when you are in amp). If you go to the normal page from anywhere…. the link is w/o trailing /amp.
Some times, striping shortcodes leave in the page some content, text and/or images mostly, and you can view those but w/o any feature in it.
In google search, and teorethicaly only on mobile devices, the url showed is the normal url, but can show the amp symbol and the text “AMP”, if you click that go to the amp version.
For example, a page with static text and a mail form made with WPCF7 will show in the amp version only the static text.

    Hope this help.
