• I am receiving several critical AMP errors on only 9 pages of 198 indexed amp pages. This is one of them:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12nHqEMhHHtJDn8FrhjfIh1rzy0FIlCEBJZB4M_rdrJg/edit?usp=sharing

There are other criitcal AMP errors for the same 9 pages:

    – Invalid CSS stylesheet (Critical issue)
    – Prohibited HTML Tag with AMP equivalent (Critical issue)
    – User-authored JavaScript found on page (Critical issue)
    – Prohibited or invalid use of HTML Tag (Critical issue)

Can you tell me what is similar about these 9 pages so I can simply disable or avoid these errors now and in the future?

    Also, I have 2 non-critical errors,

    – Use of deprecated tags or attributes (Non-critical issue)(affects 74 pages) – what is the usual reasons for this?

    – Invalid structured data element (Non-critical issue) (3 pages)

    Thanks!
    Jenn

    Hey @jenniferg73,

I apologize for the delay in response.

I am trying to access the links which you have you provided but I am unable to access them, they are getting redirected to non-amp version.

Have you tried resaving the permalinks? If not, please do that and let us know if you are still facing any issues. We will resolve them.

    Regards,
    Marqas

    Hey @sarags,

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

Can you tell me what issues you are facing? Please provide the URL as well, as it would help me to look into the site to check if it’s getting validated or not.

    Hi,

    My website is https://chocolateamais.com

I have Invalid CSS stylesheet (Critical) with

    Details:
The text (CDATA) inside tag ‘style amp-custom’ contains ‘CSS !important’, which is disallowed.

I have this error since second last update .
    Thanks

    Hi, sarags,

I just discovered that when I removed the plugin Remove HTTP my errors went away, but Google takes a long time to validate the pages that were affected.

What I discovered is that in Google WebMaster Tools, under Search Console, Search Appearance, Accelerated Mobile Pages you can click on the page with the problem and a google page opens up where you can test the page. You have to play a game of select the squares to prove you’re not a robot, but once the page is validated, which all of mine were once I removed the plugin REMOVE HTTP, you can click on the button for Google to index the page, again you have to do the select a square thing. That removes the page from the critical error list.

    Hey @sarags,

It seems that you are using “!important” in your custom css.
if you remove it your issue will be resolved.

    Hey @ampforwp,

I see the links are redirecting to the regular page. This is just on these pages, since I’ve tested the others successfully.

I have resaved Permalinks to post page, and they are still redirecting. I also checked to make sure they were on “Show” for amp, and they are, so I’m not sure what the problem is. I can also try the “Hide” feature for each of these pages.

    Thanks
