CSS syntax error in tag ‘style amp-custom’. < This is the message I get from Google Search Console regarding the amp pages which makes them invalid.

The AMP Plugin seems to automatically remove any code that would make the AMP page invalid, I have reviewed them and accepted the removal. So on the AMP plugin, it says my pages are valid. However, in Search Console it says I am not.

I clicked the “Validate Fix” button in Search Console after the AMP plugin said my pages are valid but the issue persists.

I did Inspect Element on my page and it seems like the issue is coming from these two places:

    • amp-custom
    • style amp-custom

But I can’t seem to find these when I go into WP File Manager as I’m thinking of removing these and the codes related to them.

Can someone help me with this please? I don’t really have a clue when it comes to coding.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @patbat

Thank you for contacting us, It seems you are using stackable block plugin which may be adding invalid CSS causing AMP validation issues.

We will recommend checking with the stackable block plugin as they might be able fix the issues.

    We hope this helps!

    Hello Milind,

Thank you for your quick and very useful response! I’ve deactivated Stackable plugin for now because I’m not using it extensively, thank you so much, just ran a test and one of my AMP pages are valid!

    Kind regards

    Hello Milind,

Hope you have been well, thank you for your help again,

Just a quick question, how were you able to see which plugin caused the issue? I’m getting amp errors again from Search Console on these pages:

    https://www.hatshepsut.co/bunyoro-kingdom/?amp=1

    https://www.hatshepsut.co/kingdom-of-ndongo/?amp=1

I have deactivated stackable, I’ve tried to understand what CSS is causing this but I have no idea as I cannot understand them!

    Kind regards,

    Martin
