AMP Validation issues since latest update

    Hi Team ??

    Your AMP plugin has been working beautifully for me for a while now, so thank you for that ??

    However after the last update, Google has started complaining at me, citing the following issues:

    -“Invalid value for attribute in layout ‘width’ in tag ‘amp-img'” (7 pages so far)
    -“Missing URL for attribute ‘src’ in tag ‘amp-img’.” (7 pages so far)
    -“Major content mismatch” (just home page)

    I’ve seen others have faced issues since the latest update, so thought i’d share this with you, and see if you have any ideas how I may resolve this?

    I’ve also been seeing the following warning since adding videos to some pages: “Content mismatch: Missing embedded video” this hasn’t been caused by the update, but i was wondering if you’d be able to advise on resolving that too?

    Hello Guys!

    My website had the same problem and I was able to solve the problem by disabling and reactivating the AMP for WP plugin. I also performed a general cleanup of the cache before re-validation.

    Hi Barukar, thanks for your suggestion – i’m glad it worked for you but unfortunately it didn’t work for me ?? I made sure to clear the cache before checking again on Webmaster tools, but no joy. Thanks anyway, nat
