ampersand appears as & in category names

  • I have a category on my blog called People & Lifestyle. It looks great, just as above, in the categories under admin. But on the site itself it is displayed as People & Lifestyle. I cannot figure this out for the life of me. I’ve also tried the & but that doesn’t work either :/ Any suggestions?

    people & lifestyles

    just in case. i’ve tried the & # 3 8;
