Ampersands (&) in titles get counted as 5 characters

Hi Joost,
Just a quick bug report here…
I was testing some titles using the meta box on a page and I noticed that in the character count the ampersand character ‘&’ seems to be counted as 5 characters (&) which is giving an incorrect reading on the number of characters.
It’s nothing major, just a slight annoyance when figuring out if I’m under the character limit.
