An active PHP session was detected

    When the plugin is active, the following problems are reported by WP Site Health:

    – An active PHP session was detected
    – The REST API encountered an error
    – Your site could not complete a loopback request

    The issues do not occur when the plugin is not active.

    I note that broken-link-checker/core/core.php does indeed call session_start().
