An admin user with the username XX was created outside of WordPress

    Today morning i received a mail from the wordfence plugin saying that An admin user with the username xxx was created outside of WordPress.

    The weird thing is that the username refered on the mail is the current admin user i have been using on the site for ages. No details on the admin user has changed including password and e-mail and the creation date of the account still shows to be the original date when it was created.

    Wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

    Thanks for writing in.

    Could you please send me over diagnostics from Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Send Report by Mail to wftest[at]wordfence[.]com — please include your forum username in the 2nd box there.

    Are you using any membership related plugins at all? Also, have you noticed any other logins or users in the users area, or was this notification the only evidence you’ve seen related to this?
