An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused

  • Hello! Thanks for your support.
    In the recent days, most of my pages lost indexation on google.
    In GSC, they started marking as not valid amp page with this error: An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused.
    Ive tried uninstalling and installing AMP for WP, re-designin it and un uninstalling plugins. It seems to work on some pages but not in other ones. Any recommendation about what can I do?

    Hello. I have 61 indexed pages and 48 are marked as an error. My traffic has drastically decreased and I started to feel worried. Is there something I can do? I have re crawled 3 times since I wrote here 2 weeks ago. Thank you.

    It’s strange. Sorry for the delay in getting back extremely. There are no errors in the AMP validator. the validation also becomes pass. It is strange to see. Can you please let us know, Are you still facing the same?

    Yes. As you can see, most of my pages are in the error column.
    Ive searched the internet and it seems that I am not the only one with this issue.

    Extremely sorry for the delay in response. we tested the URLs in the AMP validator but not getting any errors. It might be due to caching. Can you please check it once by clearing the cache and let us know back the response?

    Please contact your hosting service provider to clear the server-side cache and they will clear it for you.
