Thanks for the response, here’s what I did.
1. I disabled the ads for wp plugin but the script still loads.
2. I didn’t add any extra script in advance settings in AMP.
3. I have ad inserter disabled (not using anymore) and using ads for wp (as mentioned in point 1)

Yes, when I disabled all the plugins, GSC accepted to start the validation. Could it be Google sit kit I wonder?

Yes it doesn’t load now, but now how do i enable auto ads? Impressions on my site have decreased drastically

This issue was already fixed. Can you please update our latest plugin version 1.0.13 and clear cache. And check once whether the issue is solving or not.
