Thank you SO much for all your assistance at WPDevArt…. I have another question…sorry!!

Basically my client has a studio which can be booked for a minimum of 4 hours (either 8am-12) or (1-5pm). Price is 250/half day or 400 for a full day.

    That part is fine.

However!!! they have an audio booth inside the studio (so if audio booth is booked, studio can not be and vice versa). The audio booth can be booked by the hour for 100£. That’s where I’m having a huge problem. I have tried different permutations and combinations (for example my latest attempt, i put the price in the theme as zero and added extra options to book the studio/audio (you can see this currenlty on my web page above) but then there is a problem that it does not of course synchronise with the calendar… so if someone books the audio booth for 2 hours from 13:00-15:00…. in the front end booking calendar the 13:00-17:00 slot shows Not Available… that’s a problem as it prevents clients from booking the 15:00-17:00 slot which is available… complicated… i can’t think of any solutions and have spent hours on this… any help would be much appreciated. kind regards laura

    Hi dear user.

We understood what you need, but unfortunately it is not possible. If the hours for both audio booth and studio where be the same, then you could manage it, but it’s not so. You can create two different calendars, one for studio and the other for audio booth. And if users saw that the studio is booked then they can’t book the audio booth(you can tell about this adding text before calendar).

    Thanks.

Dear wpdevart…. can you please help me as the following hasn’t had a reply – I still have the same problem, I am putting absolute price discounts in but the calendar is calculating them as percentages (i sent the below 2 days ago and just saw it wasn’t answered as i put it in as a new thread so it is now rather urgent)… many thanks:

Hi, I’m trying to put in a discount for clients who book for more than 4 hours.
basically my pricing is as follows:
    1 hour booking £100
    2 hour booking £200
    3 hour booking £300
    4 hour booking £400
4-8 hours booking £400 (ie: 400 is the daily rate)

to put in this discount, i used your previous advice and filled in the ‘themes’ ‘hours setting’ and chose filled in the price fileds however, it is reading my discounts as percentages instead of absolute pounds… even though i inputted into the price field rather than the percent field. do you know how i can remedy this? many thanks, laura

    Hi dear user.

    Sorry for the late response.

Unfortunately we don’t know such plugin.

Discounts can be calculated only by percentages, unfortunately we don have another solution at this moment.

We will ask our developers if it is possible to create discount with absolute pounds.

    Thanks.

Thank you for clearing this up… 2 further questions I have if you could help…

    1) How can a user book more than one day at a time from my booking calendar? I can’t seem to do it

    2) I have an optional extra which is the use of a piece of equipment the price for which is £100 for a full day (8 hour) booking. I do not want the form to deduct the 20% discount (for bookng the whole day) also from this extra (the price should just be 100) how can i configure

    3) If 2) above is not possible…. how can i hide the calculation within the booking calendar and just show client the final price?

    Many Thanks
    Laura

    Hi dear user.

We added the option you needed(discount with absolute pounds), contact us using our support page – https://wpdevart.com/contact-us/ and we will send the new version.

    1) unfortunately if you are using hours booking, then user can’t book hours from different days

    2) We didn’t understand this question well, so we will try to answer via email when you will contact with us

    3) We can do this point if you need it

    Thanks.

    Dear WPdevart
Thank you for the above answer…. my need was urgent so I had to find another solution.. but I might come back to you on the above.

Another question please though – my booking calendar is live now and when I book out a day from the admin end, it appears on the front end as blank (no colour) i managed to change the ‘no hours’ to ‘booked’ but had to do that manually…surely when i book out from the back end, the front end should say ‘booked’ and change colour to? I think something is wrong, please could you check?

    Hi dear user.

    Sorry for the late response.

Unfortunately you can’t book from back end, you can only edit the reservations.

    Thanks.
