    Hi!

After installing, I go to the plugin “Events Made Easy” and receive the error: “An error occured while communicating to the server.” I am able to create an event but the attemp to save it results in the same error.

    Any help will be appriciated!

    PHP: PHP Version 7.3.19-1~deb10u1
MySQL: mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.3.27-MariaDB

error occured ==> then you need to check your php logs, something happened that caused this. Check also your browser console (network traffic) when you save the event, maybe some pointer there too.

Which log file do you mean? Sorry, I don’t have much experience with WordPress ??

If you don’t know, you should ask your hosting provider for assistance, they can help you with that then.

    Thank you for your reply.

I was able in the meantime to activate error logging in the wp-config.php but no debug.log showed up in ../wp-content/

My setup: WordPress is running in a vmware-instance.

I could narrow down the problem: when I connect via TeamViewer directly on the vmware machine I am able to create new events (and also see the example events). But on my remote computer the error occurs anyway).

When I created a new event (on the vmware machine) I received this error:
Failed to load plugin: lists from url https://MYDOMAIN.NET/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/lists/plugin.min.js

    And the other time this:
Failed to load plugin: charmap from url https://MYDOMAIN.NET/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/charmap/plugin.min.js

    May be it’s connected …

Maybe some security plugin or check is blocking you remotely?

I’ve played around today and it seems that our firewall is responsible for the malfunction. I have to speak with our network guy.

Thank you very much for this awesome plugin and your support!
