    Hi,
The plugin does not show my old quotes.

Do not show my list of quotes in a page.

The widgets do not working too.

When I try to create new quote, I receive a message:
Transaction failed: An error occurred in the MySQL query.

    WordPress 6.2?

    Quotes llama –?2.1.3

    Hi bfgoncalves,

Have committed 2.1.4. When you can try it out and let me know? It should hopefully address the issues you are having.

    Hi!
I have a lot of quotes, as can see in image bellow.

    See here: https://ibb.co/tKBTtCm

When I click on Edit, the quote just disappear.

    You can see here: https://ibb.co/z67LS3j

And I have a page with the code:

    [quotes-llama mode='page']

    No quotes can be viewed

Please deactivate and reactivate the plugin. This may/should add the missing table field.

If not, I can provide more detail to accomplish this, or if you are able to edit your database table, you just need to add the missing field. The structure should resemble:

    quote_id, quote, title_name, first_name, last_name, source, img_url, author_icon, source_icon, category

Also, make use of the Manage tab and be sure to do regular backups of your quotes. The export should still work even though.

I went into my database and deleted the category field from the quotes_llama table. I get the exact same result that you describe.

The simplest way, if you are able to edit the table in your database and directly add the missing field to the table, is to just do that and it should fix it.

The plugin can also accomplish this but it requires deleting the table… so a backup is required.

    1. Go into the manage tab of the plugin. Export a backup of your quotes. I suggest both formats: .csv and .json. Verify both exports actually succeeded and have your quotes in them. Verify the table structure in either export by comparing the header to the above comments table structure. If a field is missing, for instance “category”, then we know for sure this is the problem.
    2. Now that we have a good backup, go into the manage tab of the plugin. Select “Remove Table” at the bottom. Click Ok to delete the table. Do NOT do this if you do not have a current backup!
    3. Go into Plugins in your dashboard. Deactivate and Active the Quotes Llama plugin. This will create the table including the missing field.
    4. Go into the manage tab of the plugin. Select “Browse” in the import section. Select one of the export files and open. Then click the import button.

You should now be able to get back to work. ??

    Hi bfgoncalves,

Glad to hear it works now.

I visited your site and it loads the initial quote just fine. When I click an author in the list I get this: forbidden - number in author name not allowed = 1 Do you get the same result? I have not seen this before and don’t know what would cause it yet. I will try to figure it out.

Not finding anything to help me discern what is causing this. If you could perhaps try some troubleshooting on your side and let me know if you find anything?

    Quotes llama – 2.1.9

Transaction failed: An error occurred in the MySQL query. –

Error : After updating the plugin, quotes are not displayed and new ones are not created, as well as when trying to edit a quote, the form fields in the editor do not load data and remain empty.

После обновления плагина не отображаются цитаты и не создаются новые, так же при попытке редактирования цитаты поля формы в редакторе не подгружают данные и остаются пустыми.

The above instruction restored the display of quotes

But unfortunately I tore up the design of the quotes
