• I have installed and configured the plugin and if I upload directly through the UI, the images will successfully upload to Google Drive. However, when I try to upload normally from my computer into the media manager, I get this error:

An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

If I refresh my browser window and reopen the media popup, the image I just uploaded will appear there and it will also appear in the drive.

A similar issue occurs when I attempt to add a file from my Drive to the media manager. There is no error, but I need to refresh my browser window before I will see the image.

    Please can you advise? Thanks!

if you won’t to see the error message then you have to upload your files from plugin upload page, instead from the default media uploader.

As you can see, basically the file was succesfully uploaded to Google Drive, and this error appear because file that has to be uploaded to wp-upload dir has been deleted. (Experimental plugin option)

Ok thank you, but there is still an issue. The urls in my post are still linking to the gdwpm_images folder on my local site instead of linking to Google Drive, making it basically useless to upload them to GD in the first place. Is this it the way it’s meant to work? I understood that this plugin allowed me to upload to and then reference images from the Drive in my WordPress posts?

…. also, if I upload directly to Google Drive and then select the file and add to the Media Manager, it doesn’t work. The file will show up in the manager, but it is showing a missing image, and the url that is inserted links to the gdwpm_images folder, but the image is not there.

gdwpm_images folder is just a helper that will manipulate original gd urls as internal urls.
to disable this option you have to uncheck the ‘Enable Dummy Image URL’ option.

your files must be set to public to allows anyone to view or download your files

I got the same issue.. I have also uncheck Enable Dummy Image URL but still got the same issue … Please help me…

    I got the same issue.
I really need default media uploader to let users upload images to Google Drive directly.
Is there any way to fix this issue?
Or can I fix this issue customizing wordpress core files?

If it’s impossible, someone knows such similar plugin? any image uploading service instead of google drive is welcome.

    Please advice.
