    Hello I am running WordPress 4.1.1 and now I am getting an error message every time I try to upload an image.

    This is the message: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    What I’ve found is that every attemp that “fails” show in my FTP folder “uploads” so I don’t know why wordpress is doing this.

    I already try some troubleshooting I found on the internet:

    Deactivated all plugins and switched back to twenty fifteen theme and still didn’t work, I changed file permissions to 755 and still not working, please if anyone have any suggestions please let me know!

    The image is 740×310 so I know is not resolution problem and the size is 55kb, please help me!

  • I have the exact same issue. I get the same error, even if the image is successfully uploaded to the ftp server. I have also tried uploading various sizes of images, in terms of size on disk as well as pixel size.

    Anyone knows how to solve this issue?
