    After cloning the production site to another server and forgetting to set that dev site with the staging flag, I got a notice that Jetpack wanted to be put in safe mode. When I click on the “Set up Jetpack” button, it returns an error below that says “An error occurred. Please try again.”

    I have deleted and re-installed and activated jetpack but cant enable it.

    WordPress is installed in a subdirectory.

    The console returns error:
    Uncaught (in promise) ApiError: Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support. (Status 500)

    I also tried the “Delete Jetpack options” Plugin with no success.

    Upon checking your site’s connection, I can see a reference to nrcustoms.lineadesign.gr – could you clarify if that is a separate site or that is the staging URL?

    Thank you so much for taking the time to help me.
    shop.sivis.gr and nrcustoms.lineadesign.gr are separate websites and each should have their own jetpack functionality. The nrcustoms.lineadesign.gr website works great, no issues there. The shop.sivis.gr websites jetpack produces the error which I cant seem to fix on my own and need your help with.

    A little bit of history here, the website nrcustoms.lineadesign.gr is a clone of shop.sivis.gr, that is where the problem started. I suppose it is better next time to remove jetpack before cloning.
