I followed one of this forum’s threads for this error. It recommended using the hidden Connection Test page to disconnect GMC and Google and initiate a new connection. I did that and now, the plugin won’t connect to Google. So

    1. Went to ‘Google 3rd Party Apps and Services’ and deleted all connections to WooCommerce.
    2. Marketing > Google Listing & Ads > initiated new google connect but it was still not successful. Ticked all 3 checkboxes, no errors but when it returned to the plugin page, the button ‘Connect’ is still there.
    3. Went back to ‘Google 3rd Party Apps and Services’ and confirmed that plugin has indeed created a new WooCommerce connection so no problem there.

So now, I can’t even connect to Google anymore. Please advise.

    Hi @dingotrails3179,

First follow these steps to disconnect your account properly:

Next, I suggest you try following:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. This can often help resolve connection issues.
    2. Try connecting again (Marketing > Google Listings & Ads ) from a different browser or in incognito mode. Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with the connection process.
    3. Verify that your Google account has the necessary permissions to connect with the plugin. It should have admin access to both Google Merchant Center and Google Ads.
    4. Ensure your site URL is claimed and verified in the Google Merchant Center. If it’s not, the connection might fail.
    5. If the issue persists, try disabling all other plugins temporarily to rule out any conflicts.

If, after trying these steps, you’re still unable to connect, we would appreciate it if you could share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Did the steps above but plugin still does not connect to Google. Finally, I was able to connect to Google by

    1 – deactivating JetPack
2 – deactivating my cache (Litespeed)

Now I am back to the original issue – getting the error ‘An error occurred while retrieving your product feed. Please try again later.’. Please help. The plugin seems very difficult to use.

Both Litespeed and Jetpack are still disabled. Here is the status report
    https://prod.pastebin.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/x2jpSzYJ

    1. Under product feed status, it says ‘Your product listings are ready to be uploaded – 38 products’.
    2. I select ‘skip’ for paid ads and a pop up appears.
    3. After I click next, an error message says “There was an error loading your merchant center product statistics. Merchant Center account is not set up.” Product feed says ‘An error occurred while retrieving your product feed. Please try again later’

However, I have setup Merchant Center. However, if there are specific items within Merchant Center that need to be setup first, please let me know.

    Hi there @dingotrails3179 ??

The site’s System Status Report (SSR) link already expired, I’m afraid. Kindly re-send it, with a longer time expiration limit.

Moreover, could you share screenshots of what you see on the other screens? Feel free to use a tool, like https://snipboard.io/, for sharing them in the forum.

We await your response to better assist you.
