An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 1255

  • Hi,

    I tried to run an update of the Avada plugin for our website, this failed and then caused wordpress to go into recovery mode, Please see details below;

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
    In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Avada.
    When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:

    WordPress version 5.4
    Current theme: Avada (version 6.2.2)
    Current plugin: (version )
    PHP version 7.2.29

    An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 1255 of the file /home/dsiltd/public_html/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/importer/class-avada-demo-import.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST)

    I have downloaded the .php file and can upload this if anyone needs to review and can see something missing in the code, I have tried to resume the theme but it fails, this also brought down wordfence which I cannot start now.

    Any help to get this out of recovery mode and the website back to normal would be appreciated
