An excellent tool to keep images organized
-
It’s a common knowledge that almost every WordPress website contains multiple images. The visual perception concept is an integral part of the powerful media we call the Internet. I was surprised to understand that even the website not dedicated to photography, or any other artwork counts hundreds if not thousands of images.
Though WordPress is a great CMS, its built-in media handling tools are poor. You just through all the images into one junk bin with almost no chance to ever find the required image again. When I understood that I’m stuck on that I began looking for a plugin that will allow me to at least create folders in my media gallery on WordPress website.
Upon investigation I decided to try Premio’s Folders plugin. Things immediately restored their sense. Even the free version of Folders allowed me to create folders in my media library and get images organized. No more wasting precious time looking for the needed image.
The paid versions also allow to create nested subfolders and thus improve the media library even more.
What’s also very important that Premio’s Folders plugin allows you to create folders and subfolders not only for images but for pages and posts as well. Webmasters or bloggers who publish several posts or pages a day or a week (for example news releases, sales campaigns, etc.) will be happy to be able to categorize their pages in a systematic way.
The bottom line. Premio’s Folders is a very good product well deserving the money you pay for it. I’m working with this product for a couple of years and am absolutely satisfied.
I have to mention the friendly manner and readiness to help of their support personnel. During my experience I haven’t faced any problems generated by their product. But there was a couple of disasters due to other plugins when nothing worked. I addressed their support and received adequate answers and advices even though they had not been the source of the problems.
