    Hello there,

I have an issue about variables products.

I try to add a variable product to the cart, I receive the alert “Cannot add this product to cart (invalid product)” but the product gets added anyway.

I checked the code and the error occurs under /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-paypal-payments/modules/ppcp-paypal-subscriptions/src/PayPalSubscriptionsModule.php on line 113.

I tried to log the error and it looks like the variable products don’t retrieve the ID correctly.

Can you please investigate on it further?

I will be waiting for your response.
    Thank you!

    Hello @dibix

Thanks for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

Foremost, we would like to clarify some doubts. To do that, we need a full system report which contains details of our plugin. Please follow these steps to share your system status report with us:

    1. Navigate to the WooCommerce / Status section in your site’s admin panel.
    2. Click on the Get system report button and then click Copy for support.
    3. Paste the report into our PrivateBin.
    4. After uploading, please share the link here so we can review the details thoroughly.

It appears from the stack trace that the issue is occurring in the SubscriptionsModule. It would be crucial for us to know if you’re using subscriptions on your site because, based on what I see, this product seems to be a standard variable product, and in theory, this issue shouldn’t affect it.

Another possibility is a conflict with another plugin. We recommend performing a full conflict test to rule out issues with the theme or another plugin. You can try temporarily activating the default theme (Storefront) and disabling all other plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments. Then, enable each plugin one by one to identify which one is causing this behavior. Most likely, the issue won’t persist when no additional plugins are active.

Please let us know how this works for you.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Hello there,

Here’s the PrivateBin link you requested: https://privatebin.syde.com/?30fbd1697f2c60e9#6HSsUjkSXYzDbLxS6gdsvnUB4AkSyVm4tmNmTiXpA2Jy

The subscriptions option is active but I tried deactivating this functionality and the issue still occurs.

Additionally, I disabled all the plugins while using the Storefront theme, but the issue persists.

I look forward to your response.
    Thank you!
