• I was quite impressed by the number of articles and tools provided but after a few hours of browsing I realized that the whole system really comes down to building a big information website in the hope of getting large amounts of search traffic from Google by using a keyword tool to find profitable keywords to write about.

This idea has been around for ages, and although it was doable in its heyday, very few people are making any money out of it now. Despite the amount of stuff in here, there is just nothing to protect yourself from an overnight collapse in Google traffic. And that’s if you get it in the first place, which is very very hard nowadays.

Also, there doesn’t seem to be any tools to help you create products, which they say is supposed to be the whole point of getting the traffic in the first place.

    Hi Tin Man.

Our CEO is in the process of developing a 10 part (likely closer to 15) series on creating a physical product for sale. But not just a product for sale. A product that will succeed. It doesn’t take much thought, planning or development to come up with a product that fails. So his series starts right at the beginning, with how find ideas for products.

We already have a series on digital products, which is being converted into articles to follow.

I’ll be adding the digital products series to the bizXpress content library as soon as they’re available, and adding the physical products series as soon as it’s completed.

I had my site hit by Google penguin and lost 40% of my traffic (around 500-600 people a day down to 250). It was pretty bad.

Ken and every at BizXpress wrote a gigantic report on how to recover from Penguin, and I recovered + much more! Now I’m at around 1400 a day, which is pretty great.

So although there’s a risk of Google Algorithm’s screwing you up, you’ve always got the team to back you up with data and solutions.

Besides, the only reason I got hit by that algorithm was by following shoddy SEO advice on the internet and spamming comment feeds. Now that I know better I just focus on creating wicked comics and content – what’s Google going to hit me for if I’m not participating in the “SEO game”?
