After about a week of testing this plugin out, I’ve returned to my original opinion of it – in that its rather good!

One thing I did notice earlier though, was that in the ‘Backlinks’ module, there was a website that did a few redirects and then landed up on a cryptocurrency website. Ideal for removing later, I thought.

However looking at the ‘Daily Maintenance’ logs shortly after, it appeared that SEO Booster had automatically removed it – and checking back in the backlinks module, it had gone.

Bit of a bonus there then – how does this work?

Hi Steve – Happy you have a positive experience ??

The tracking routines are tricky to get just right, pick up the right things and ignore irrelevant traffic. Getting this to work on sites with different configurations, PHP versions, plugins and themes can be tricky.

The maintenance routines can take a few seconds but will do a retroactive cleanup.

If your website records traffic from search engines not yet detected by SEO Booster, the same maintenance routine will recognize old traffic and converts to keyword data.

Every time new search engines are added to the list, old search engine traffic will add more keyword data and clean up irrelevant traffic. Neat? ??
