    Hi,

When try to upload images (more then 1 picture) in NextGen under Add Gallery / Images i get a error message saying “An unexpected error occured. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance. 0 images were uploaded”

FYI. I have a plugin called “iQ Block Country” that mess things up because when i activate this plugin Nextgen will not upload pictures and instead give me the error message described above. It worked for some weeks ago and i dont know if it is “iQ Block Country” that have been upgraded or “Nextgen” but this is the problem in my case.

I want to give you this information if you get more questions about this error message.

I have this problem with 2 different websites that have two different hosting providers Loopia.se and One.com.

    – WordPress up to date?
    Yes, version 4.0–sv_SE
    – NextGEN up to date?
    Yes, Version 2.0.66.29
    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from?
    I had 2.0.66.27, then upgraded to 2.0.66.29

    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)?
    Version 5.6.19
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)?
    Version 5.3.10
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated?
    mod_rewrite module loaded under apache2handler
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF?
    Safe Mode OFF

Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with?
    Loopia.se
    – What theme are you running?
    Weaver
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated?
It works when i dont have “iQ Block Country” activated.

    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to a WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery?
It works when i dont have “iQ Block Country” activated.

    Best regards! Magnus

@mange79 – Just to confirm, when the ‘iQ Block Country’ plugin is deactivated, the uploading is fine? If so, I suspect it may be writing some script to the.htaccess which is messing with the permissions on the server. You’ll need to contact the developer for that plugin to see if there are any code adjustments that could be made to prevent blocking image uploads.

Yes, when ‘iQ Block Country’ is deactivated, the upload is fine.
I use ‘Admin Block Country’ instead and now I have no problems in Nextgen.
I will inform the developer for ‘iQ Block Country’. Thanks!
