    I just installed WordPress on my a test domain (https://www.itgolf.co.uk/) this morning and found that every time I tried to upload or add a plugin to the site I received the error message:

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    I have tried completely deleting and freshly installing WordPress but that hasn’t worked, I haven’t uploaded any themes or plugins other than what comes with a standard install. I tried debugging using wp-config.php but couldn’t see any error messages popping up.

    Themes can be searched and installed fine, it’s just plugins that I’m having an issue with. This is the first time I’ve come across this after creating many wordpress sites, all using the same hosting etc.

    Update: Contacted my host (TSOHOST) who said this was a problem with www.ads-software.com and not with my server or wordpress installation.

    Went back onto my site to check it again 10 mins later and everything had returned and I am able to add plugins, so looks like it was a temporary issue on www.ads-software.com.
