An unknown error occurred

  • I have just moved to a new VPS and now when I install WP and try to install a plugin I get the following results:

    Search — “An unknown error occurred”
    Upload — Works as its supposed to.
    Featured — “An unknown error occurred”
    Popular — “No plugins match your request”
    Newest — “An unknown error occurred”
    Recently Updated — “No plugins match your request”
    You may also browse based on the most popular tags in the Plugin Directory — No plugin tags shown.

    Has anyone any idea what is going on? Could this be some kind of misconfiguration on my server or a server-side problem at WP’s plugin page site?
