An unknown error occurred, please make sure that your WordPress installation can

  • Hi – I had the widget on my home page and it has been working fine. Today when I went to the site an error is showing up as follows:

    An unknown error occurred, please make sure that your WordPress installation can access remote resources.

    I have not changed any settings in wordpress nor in the widget so I do not know what exactly is happening – any assistance you would provide is greatly appreciated.

    Update – I removed plugin and completely reinstalled with a fresh download of plugin. I connected to Instagram gave permission via the plugin widget – however, in the widget the bar to connect to Instagram to give permission never disappeared and no options to configure the widget settings ever showed up. It was if I had never given permission for Instagram to approve. I go to Instagram and see permission had been given.
