    2fargon: This is excellent and very clearly written. I have two issues, one major and one minor (a pet peeve, if you will):
    I don’t think we should turn people away or make them hesitate more than necessary if they don’t speak English very well. Indeed, I can’t see a reason why this forum wouldn’t be able to welcome messages written in other languages. If anything, it would make us look inviting and modern.
    (And my pet peeve? Is it really necessary to insist on capitalization? No one here – or in my humble opinion, no one at all except people you have to bow to – has the authority to do so.)

    serendipity, well, I thought it would be nice if we can say that English is the supported and most-common language.
    Typing in Caps, or all small letters is distracting and I personally find it very rude, so I put that in there for good effect. It is by no means a requirement, it is just a suggestion for forum-users who might not be aware of etiquette.

    I actually cut the bit about typing in CAPS out, but I too find it very very annoying.
