Analytical data not correct

I understand that WooCommerce Analytics is displaying incorrect data even after emptying the cache.

Can you please try deleting all previously imported orders from Analytics > Settings, then reimport all order data from the same page after the deletion process has completed? This will ensure all data is present.

On one website I tried it and it deletes it correctly. On the other website I try it but it already is loading for 5-6 hours and nothing happens.. What can I do?

Thanks for your confirmation that the steps I mentioned above were working on one site, however, takes too long on your other site.

Depending on your order volume the import can take a good while (up to an hour). What the import does is create an index and then starts processing the queue. The initial index creation takes a few minutes and then you should see the progress bar come to live that keeps you updated. How long did you try? How many orders do you have in your database?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly, can you please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Thanks for sharing the System Status Report.

While your WooCommerce version is up to date, I see that your database version is extremely old, thus giving rise to all sorts of trouble: WC Database Version: 4.4.0

Please update the WooCommerce Database to match the core version. You can do it from WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update database. Here’s a helpful guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-update-woocommerce/#woocommerce-data-update-notice

* Before doing that make sure you have a good backup of your full site and database in place, so that if something goes wrong, you can easily restore your site to a functioning state. Most hosting providers have this included in the subscription, but you may also consider using a service like Jetpack, or a plugin like UpdraftPlus.

@margaretwporg I try to update the database but it doesn’t seem to update (unless it takes hours and hours)

I look under WooCommerce > Tools > Scheduled actions to see if something is happening but the amount of pending stays the same.

The screenshot and the report are showing a lot of pending actions. A plugin like the WP Crontrol might help with that.

You can temporarily switch your theme to Storefront, disable all plugins except WooCommerce, then check again the analytics, is the issue still present at this point?

If not it means there was a conflict affecting the site’s behavior and you can then reactivate theme and plugins one by one and check again after each reactivation until the cause of the issue is found, more info to run this test is below:

You can run the test using a staging environment, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
